I had the privilege to work on the Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung’s built-in way to play video games directly on the TV without needing a console. It brings all the major cloud-gaming services together in one simple place, so you can turn on your TV, pick up a controller, choose a game, and start playing instantly. No downloads, no updates, and no extra hardware required.

Result:
Samsung Gaming Hub grew to over 21 million supported devices in its first year, with a 13× increase in monthly active users and a ~3,000-game catalog. Since then, it’s continued to expand across TVs, monitors, and Galaxy devices with new partners, social gaming features, and AAA releases.
